The RV lot, rule by rule

Bear Claw Casino & Hotel, north of Carlyle, lets RV travellers and tent campers stay on its lot under written rules. This page sets them out as a checklist, from the first stop at Guest Services to the cleanup before leaving.

  • Electric hookups at 110V
  • 6 powered spots, no reservations taken
  • No set limit on length of stay

Spec 01

First stop on arrival

Every SIGA casino welcomes guests travelling in recreational vehicles, and the lot north of Carlyle works the same way. The first stop on arrival is the Guest Services desk, with a SIGA Rewards card in hand. Staff may ask for the licence plate, a name and contact details. They may also ask how many visitors are in the party, how long the stay will be and, for an extended stay, the reason. Security or the Casino Shift Manager then approves the stay.

Spots go first come, first served. No reservations are taken, so a spot cannot be held before arrival. Membership in SIGA Rewards is free, and one card works at all seven SIGA casinos.

Spec 02

Power, tents and the fire rule

Electric hookups are available on 6 spots, at 110V. The other spots have no hookup, and none can be reserved, so power is not guaranteed on arrival. A rig that depends on a plug-in should come with a plan for running without one. Tents are allowed on the grassy areas of the lot.

Open fire pits are not permitted anywhere on the lot. Alcohol is allowed only inside the RV, not in the stall or on the grass around it. Garbage disposal is available on the lot. Before leaving, guests clean up their spot, which is part of the written rules rather than a courtesy.

Spec 03

Length of stay and lot conduct

There is no limit on how long a stay can run. Two conditions come with that. Campers may not be left unattended in their stalls for an extended period, and guests must be back at their campsite every evening. The reason for an extended stay may be asked at Guest Services, as noted above.

Loud music and parties are not allowed on the lot. Panhandling and solicitation are not allowed either. The casino floor is open from 11 am to midnight every day, and anyone under 19 cannot gamble or collect winnings there. Holiday hours are not published; the casino line, 306-577-4577, answers that question.
